Our pastor made that statement during the sermon this morning. It is so easy for Christians to be discouraged because we are tempted to sin, but it is only when we decide to follow the devil that we fail. Just because we are having to flee from something doesn't mean that we are no longer walking with the Lord! Jesus didn't say that it would be easy to follow him, just that he would give us all the help we need!
It has been a fairly quiet Sunday. We expected to have friends over for the afternoon, but, due to some sickness Peter got on Thursday which got much worse instead of better last night, we decided that it would be better for us to keep him away from others. Poor baby is just miserable :(. We aren't sure what is the congestion everybody else had Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday, and what is teething, but he is not feeling good in the least :(.
Abbi made her first crocheted chain stitch today :)! (I seem to have a thing for teaching crochet while people are sick?). Just one all by herself, but that is a start! She didn't know that you couldn't crochet a big, long "snake" (for Peter ;)) with just one stitch, she thought that it was all the yarn hanging off your stitch that made it big, and I couldn't disappoint her after she had worked so hard :P...
