~Oh, and finding out how to do pictures again ;).
~Letters from friends and family.
~Clean paper drawers... now I have to go use them to write letters, haha. They should make it... this time... until I make another set of cards. Then I'll have to clean them again, it happens every time ;)...
~Crafting supplies.
~Free patterns for cute things. (I plan on making this for Emmi's birthday on June first. Or maybe this. I can't decide. The kangaroo looks simpler to make than the horse, but I'd have to learn several new things for the kangaroo, so it would probably be about the same.)
~Fun with little people.
~Staying up late talking with Tori. We don't do this quite as much as we used to since we have four more people in the room, but it is still fun when we do. We had a great time last night :).
~Jesus forgiveness.
~Books written by strong, godly men and women to help us on our journey (I'm reading Mr. J. C. Ryle's "Practical Religion".)
~Time with Mommy and the babies (Abbi down) last night (Daddy, Tori, Bethi, and Andrew were at church.)
~Popcorn.
~An oven.
~A good bread recipe.
~Lots of cheap bananas, which we have/will use for
~Nilla banana pudding,

~And my last thankful thought for this post is... lots to be thankful for :)!!!

Yummmm...chocolate banana pudding!
Peter gets cuter with every picture you put up! ;)
I wasn't able to view the horse pattern, but the kangaroo is adorable!
Blogger is acting really strange...I tried to log in about a week ago, and it gave me a Facebook-type thing instead. I could not find the option to go to my blog anywhere!
Hmmm, what am I thankful for right now? :) New Chopin sheet music...the Bible that's open in front of me...the cat on my lap...the stack of library books that I'm about to go start on...the fact that my dad is off work tomorrow...I'm done with school for the summer as of today...ice cream...the cooler weather...blogging friends!! ;)

OH MY GOODNESS!!!! Bri, he is SO adorable!!!! Awwww... see, this is what happens when I leave for five months! (Sorry about that, by the way, you can read all about it at Things of Beauty! :) ) I love the name Peter, too--reminds me of the Biblical Peter and of the Narnian Peter! Haha! Well... I'm off to see what else I missed! :D
Joy~ Yes, Tori especially loves the Banana pudding. The good thing is,it is also raw! (I think, though, that our recipe is actually Banana "ice cream" It just seems more like pudding to us, so that is what we've taken to calling it.
Thank you :). Peter is just precious :)
...
I think that, if I do the kangaroo for Emmi, I'll save the stick horse for Peter's first birthday (if he is really all Shaffer ( ;)...) he should be walking by then, and it seems like a "boyish" gift. Or maybe I'll do it for both... I don't know...
???! I have never seen anything about Facebook on my account???
Thank you for joining in my thankful thoughts... I'm also extremely grateful for blogging friends :)!
Allie~ Thank you :)!!! Sorry you missed the news for a while, but I couldn't wait to share it!
Yes,Peter is a sweet name, and I did think that it was fun to have a Peter like the character in the classic "Narnia" books... then I was reading the little ones the classic "Tale of Peter Rabbit" book later that night... and sharing a name with classic book characters kinda lost some charm, lol... Glad your back!!!
